berofix - the new generation of active Interface cards or boxes, made by beronet. The berofix productseries is a powerful and flexible hardware solution to connect ISDN, (BRI/PRI) and in the future analog (FXS/FXO) as well as GSM lines to any SIP based VoIP system. berofix is not a typical Media Gateway neither a standard PCI/PCIe card, where you need any proprietary drivers, therefor we call it a "Gateway Card". Due to the special Hardware design the operating system is detecting berofix as a standard Network card. All necessary drives to work with the berofix should automatically loaded by the OS.

Therefor berofix is OS indepedent and can be used for instance on Linux/Unix Windows and MAC environments (currently tested under Linux and Windows).

The BNxGSM PCI card series from beroNet, is powerful and flexible GSM solution for the Open Source PBX Asterisk. Together with our channel driver "chan_gsm", wich is covered by the GPL, you can easily add GSM ports to your Asterisk system. Digital audio quality with noise suppression and echocancelling is granted by the use of Siemens GSM Modules (Tri-Band 900/1800/1900 Mhz). Optional available are Siemens Modules with Tri-Band 850/1800/1900. Sending and receiving SMS is also fully supported either by the "Asterisk Manger Interface (AMI)" or the "Asterisk CLI".

The passive Interface cads are especially designed to use with the Open Source PBX Asterisk. Together with our channel-driver "chan_mISDN", which is covered by the GPL licensing agreement, you can easily add BRI or PRI ports to your Asterisk system. Our channel-driver is based on the new ISDN stack mISDN (modular ISDN). Additionaly to the Asterisk the passive Interface cards can also be used with other applications, which are compatible with mISDN. These Interface cards can be divided into two categories, the BRI cards and PRI cards. The BRI models are available as BNxS0 PCI with 2,4 and 8 BRI Ports and as BNxS0e PCIe with 2 and 4 BRI Ports.
