Disasters in a communication network are often very difficult to predict and there is usually a very small advance notice when a communication line goes down. bero*fos provides an effective way for dealing with such unexpected events by re-routing the lines to a back-up line when undesirable changes are detected. Therefore beroNet provides bero*fos, a solution device for Asterix Clustering and failover scenarios that requires a physical reconnection of analogue, BRI or PRI lines. The bero*rps “remote power switch” provides an easy and effective way to control 230 V power in a rack mount environment. Eight individually controlled AC outlets (230V) on the rear side of the device can be switched on, off or rebooted via web browser, custom applications or on the front panel of the bero*rps. Therefore bero*rps is a perfect solution for co-location applications, and provides two separate levels of password protected access.
