Installation of app_say_number
------------------------------

Since app_say_number is not yet in the official asterisk source tree, we have
to configure the makefile and tell it where to find the src, install and
config directory of asterisk.

1. ) Edit the Makefile:

a) Set the variable ASTERISKSRC which standartically points to
/usr/src/asterisk to your asterisk-src tree.

b) Change the INSTALL_MODPATH variable to the Path where your asterisk modules
lie in (usual /usr/lib/asterisk/modules).

c) Change the AST_CONFIG_DIR variable to the config directory of the asterisk
(which is usually /etc/asterisk).

2. ) Compile and Install:

Simply type:

# make

to build the asterisk module and the sayit-testprogramm. Now get root and type
in:

# make install

and the module should be installed in your asterisk modpath and the standard
saynum.cfg file is copied in the config directory if none exists there.

Thats it!

Now you could try to type in:

#./sayit sample.cfg -123.5 en

and you should se how the number is constructed in english.
